President Zelensky has joked he is “aware of everything” after being asked about reports of a proposed truce by Starmer and Macron.
After a European summit in London, Zelensky faced reporters’ questions ahead of boarding a flight to leave the UK. Laura Kuenssberg asked him about reports Macron had shared news of the proposed deal with French newspaper Le Figaro .
The paper reports the French president as saying he and Sir Keir Starmer do not believe in a ceasefire signed by the US and Russia and have put an alternative month-long truce on the table.
