COLE PALMER scaled new heights as he masterminded Chelsea’s sizzling comeback win
The attacker fired two penalties and teed up a worldie for Enzo Fernande as the Blues roared back emphatically from 2-0 down.
Palmer was outstanding after the break – with glorious touches peaked by a Panenka for his second spot-kick.
Yet Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulesvski had left Spurs flying by netting inside the opening 11 minutes.
But lively Jadon Sancho soon cut in from the left to fire home a low shot in off the post.
The loanee from Manchester United remained the main menace out wide.
Fraser Forster thwarted him early in the second period as Chelsea dictated.
And after Yves Bissouma rashlessly brought down the surging Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer deservedly levelled with a 61st minute penalty.
On-fire Palmer then set up Enzo Fernandez for a long-range left-footer cracker to confirm a dramatic turnaround.
Son Heung-min replied six minutes into stoppage time.
