A 28-year-old Moroccan national was arrested this week in Milan for incitement to commit crimes linked to terrorism.
He was arrested by the city’s National Police, in execution of an order issued by the Preliminary Investigation Judge at the Milan Court.
Local media recall that last November, he was the target of a complaint concerning threats received on an Instagram profile.
The young man already has a criminal record for offences relating to people, property and drugs. He is also under investigation for association with international terrorism.
The procedure, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the international anti-terrorism section within the police force, is being conducted in synergy with the Department for Combating Extremism and Terrorism, and the Central Preventive Police Directorate.
