HP unveils first device with built-in AI assistant, the OmniBook X

In the rapidly evolving landscape of the modern workplace, the way in which we work has transformed significantly. From coffee shops to home desk setups, deviating between the best laptops and the best convertible devices, there’s no limitation to how or where we fulfil our roles.

At the same time, AI is rapidly emerging as an innovatory force that’s reshaping workplace expectations for productivity and creativity. One study found that 63% of organisations plan to adopt AI globally within the next three years, meaning there’s room for tech brands to develop softwares and release new products accordingly. HP is one example, empowering everyone from remote workers to freelancers to access AI in a way that benefits them.

In a bid to help keep people connected, productive and secure within this new era of AI, HP has launched its first device with Qualcomm, the HP OmniBook X. With a variety of enhanced AI features, impressive battery life and lightweight design, it’s bound to be a popular choice for anyone who works flexibly. The OmniBook demonstrates HP’s strategic vision for the future of work, helping individuals and organisations find a way to exceed performance expectations.

The OmniBook X sees the introduction of HP’s first AI assistant, HP AI Companion, designed to optimise the user experience and house AI tools locally on the device. Users will be able to receive intelligent assistance through questions, content feeds and personalised files, as well as customise the device in accordance with their needs. Not only will this help users to effectively manage workloads and schedules, but it’ll allow employees to focus on higher-level work by eliminating time-consuming tasks.
