The summer Amazon Prime Day is always a great event for those looking to snag a bargain on a gadget, TV or appliance, but did you know it’s one of the best times of the year to refill your drinks cabinet too?
Beer, wine and spirits are available at bargain prices during Prime Day, but there is one problem – there’s just so much choice. Which is the best bottle (or two) to buy?
Well, I’ve been making good use of the Prime Day sales over the years to get my hands on some fine Scotch, Irish and even Japanese whiskies – often with major discounts. And there are even big discounts to be had in the build up to the Prime sales.
So, I’ve tagged five of my favourites that either are already in deals or could be part of the event over the coming day. Here are my recommendations for you to do the same.

To be honest, there will be a fair few other whiskies reduced for this year’s Prime Day sales that I would heartily recommend. However, the five above are perennial faves.
