Starbucks donates $3 million to Gaza World Central Kitchen

Responding to the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza, Starbucks has announced a $3 million donation to World Central Kitchen (WCK), an organization renowned for providing meals in disaster and conflict zones.

This significant contribution, a joint effort by the Starbucks Foundation and Alshaya Starbucks, will support WCK’s ongoing efforts to deliver essential food aid to individuals and families suffering from hunger amidst the ongoing conflict.

“We are heartbroken for all the people impacted by the situation in Gaza, and the many people at risk of hunger,” expressed Duncan Moir, president of Starbucks Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Starbucks has always been about more than coffee. We are committed to contributing positively and supporting others who do so.”
